- 8 oz semisweet chocolate
- 1 lb strawberries
- chopped almonds
Melt the chocolate in a metal bowl over a pan of steaming water. It should take 4-5 minutes. To hasten melting, chop or break the chocolate into smaller pieces.
Dip the strawberries in the chocolate and lay to cool on a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper. Sprinkle chopped almonds. For quicker cooling, place the chocolate-covered strawberries in the refrigerator, but they will dry in a couple hours left sitting out.
